Jon Haste lives in York working as a designer, illustrator and printmaker. His printmaking focuses on relief printmaking, predominantly linocut, and concerns endangered flora and fauna of the UK and rest of the world. With the natural world as a boundless inspiration, Jon is interested in producing work that excites and informs and hopefully inspires people to take steps to protect the environment around them, and preserve its incredible beauty for future generations.
Jon is committed to working in a responsible and sustainable way, using water-based inks and trying to limit the carbon footprint of his work as much as possible. Part of the money made from print sales goes to supporting organisations working to prevent species loss in the UK.
