Marc Godfrey-Murphy

Marc’s often works under the pseudonym of MarcoLooks, with a portfolio stretching across various mediums from lino cut, screen print, monoprint through to digital illustrations and paintings. The body of his work is divided into ranges including landmark imagery to graphical artwork based around a concept, as well as one off originals, which is where you’ll mainly find his printmaking.

Marc studied art and theatre at university. After working on musicals in London’s West End, he found his way into TV animation, making cartoons for CBeebies. Marc grew up in Newbury, and has lived in Cambridge, Oxford, Columbus (Ohio, USA) and Edinburgh, and moved to York in 2014. As well as selling his art, Marc works as an animation tutor, graphic designer and volunteer for a local homeless charity in the city.
