Phill is a retired software developer with a keen interest in photography, graphic design and print making. Following a linocut weekend workshop a few years ago Phill has slowly developed his printmaking skills. His first few prints were simple Christmas cards but after equipping a small studio in the spare bedroom and acquiring a Hawthorn press he is now challenging himself with more ambitious prints. Phill’s artistic inspiration largely derives from nature – landscapes, birds, animals, trees, stones, the surface of water, waterfalls and the like.
